Roadrunner Blues

The lyrics to this song were written by Dave "Gummy" Gershfeld. It's first known performance was at New York Ave. on 02/18/1998 [Huntington, NY].

Roadrunner Blues does not appear on either of the band's albums and is not currently played by the band.

Lyrics

You might think I'm strange, 'cause I chase you from town to town.
That's just my nature, that'll never change, 'till I track you down.
My pursuit may not seem profound, but sit back - listen to my confession.
Always getting stuck on the ground - that's my confession.

If I don't catch you soon, I'm gonna burst like Acme balloon.
I'm just a wiley cartoon, howlin' at the moon.

You're as elusive as Melville's whale, I skate at you
with jet and sale -- get naught but dust and phale..

In my sleep, I hear you calling...
Beep, Beep, and now I'm falling.

I know I'm gonna' get you, if it's the last thing that I ever do...

Super genius
Taken too many on the chin
Quitting would be the worst thing
The good guys.....will always win.....

So I start my chase again,,,,,,,,

If it's the last thing I ever do....
You know I'm gonna get you!
