It's lyrics were penned by Shaun Mangan, and the music was composed by Cousin Fungus

Eli does not appear on either of the band's albums, and is not currently in rotation.

Lyrics

Eli on the rooftops
Takin' out the paper boy
Thought it was an M-16
And it was a B.B. toy

Eli, what you on?
This ain't no Viet Nam
Let's try to keep it calm

Eli, drop your camouflage
I can see you plain and good
Your still just sixteen
In a suburb neighborhood

Eli, you ain't no veteran
I thought you were my friend
Don't try that shit again!

Eli, Eli, Eli

Moved to somewhere new
And I can't imagine why...
